Christopher Raeburn x Victorinox “Protect” Video

Not content with operating solely in the luggage and accessories department, Victorinox has been active in its pursuit of fashion with select capsule collections with designer Christopher Raeburn. For Spring/Summer 2013, the two parties unite on the “Protect” range which is presented via this short stop-motion video. The fashion element is evident through a colorful camo motif together with technical function. The five-piece collection made of recycled materials was meant to investigate the role clothing plays in the protection of the elements as well as apparel use for summer festivals.

Rick Ross pulls the curtain on the latest visuals for the God Forgives, I Don’t cut, “Presidential.” As the title would imply, the video opens up with powerful words from the President himself, before leading into Rozay and his MMG friends.

Fat Joe‘s new “Pride and Joy” is this video featuring a fully-stacked lineup of notable emcees and talents — so stacked, perhaps, that the absence of full verses from Jadakiss and Busta Rhymes, and the lack of an appearance by Yasiin Bey are notable. The visual component for the new track — an ode to that special girl in their lives — was premiered by MTV2 and directed by Hype Williams.

iD Online: BAPE vs Kreayshawn

iD Online catches up with internet lightning rod Kreayshawn in London for both a photoshoot, as well as to document the rapper’s recent collaborative tee with BAPE. Described by London BAPE manager Dan Doyle as the perfect individual who captures the diverse, young and modern customer-base that the brand attracts, it seems only fitting that the off-the-wall emcee has been portrayed in a “cartoonish” manner. The shirt is currently available for purchase in their Soho flagship store and also serves as a celebratory display for her yet-to-be-released debut Something About Kreay’.

Music Video: Rick Ross feat. Dr. Dre and Jay-Z – 3 Kings

Lily Donaldson Stars In “Fashion Fetish”

Channeling the look of seedy amateur erotic filmmaking and inspiration from the fetishistic “Furries” animal group, British supermodel Lily Donaldson stars in the latest “Fashion Fetish” short film from SHOWstudio. Depicting a bikini-clad Donaldson in heels and the smiling tiger head of a furry costume, the grainy footage sees the model posing poolside as well as on the hood of an old sedan. Touching on the two-and-a-half-minute film, creative director Dasha Zhukova stated “I think obsession with fashion looms prominently in the everyday, and our fetishes in relation to it are just as habitual as they are sexual,” while Donaldson added “I wanted the video to feel a bit unpalatable and seedy – like a crappy old VCR that’s been found and put on YouTube. Very dodgy and amateur.”

Herschel Supply Co. 2012 Fall Lookbook Video

Herschel Supply Co.’s 2012 fall lookbook reflects much of the brand’s ethos with an aesthetic like that of an indie music video with grungy folk scenes and acoustic romances set against a golden sunset backdrop. “Inspired by rolling hills, ocean waves and endless campfire nights,” the heritage bagmakers expand their product range with freshly updated classics while also adding color and new iterations to staple pieces.
