Nike‘s ultra simple but extremely well-received Roshe Run receives the following update. The ever popular usage of pattern over the last few seasons continue with a zebra-esque pattern over a simple blue upper. Seen in Sneaker Freaker issue 25, no word yet on an exact release date but expect it to be well-received like much of the previous Roshe Run lineup.
The latest from A Bathing Ape’s youth-oriented sub brand BAPE KIDS finds the whimsical Japanese brand teaming with Porter for a SCHOOL BAG just in time for that annual trip back to various learning institutions. Key features include a Jacquard duck lining, original BAPE fastener pullers, breathable mesh fabric and shoulder belt with D-Kan. Expect to see this collaboration in select stores in the very near future.
Thrasher Magazine and Casio pay homage to skate culture with a spirited collaboration that takes shape as the DW-5600 watch. Presented with a prominent checkerboard pattern on the face of the digital timepiece, black accents with ribbed bracelet – all amenities we’ve seen on past G-Shock’s – make up the prominent and rugged construction. The collaborative DW-5600 watch will be available at select Japanese institutions starting on September 1.
ABSOLUT Mexico has commissioned artist Dr. Lakra for this latest set of limited edition bottles paying tribute to ancient Mayan culture. The bottles feature captivating graphics embellished with themes of Balam, Kukulkan and Hurakan respectively representing the jaguar, the feathered serpent and the wind. As one of the more memorable designs seen from the Swedish vodka label, these will surely not be a hit on the shelves. Positioned as an edgier yet youthful line whilst aligning with the eponymous label’s love for vintage Americana garbs, Ralph Lauren’s Denim & Supply presents its 2012 fall/winter lookbook. Having previously been announced here with its collaborative effort alongside Swedish DJ Avicii, we finally get a glimpse at the end result. With an exclusive remix to his track “Silhouettes” released earlier this month here, the 22-year-old producer offered insight in the design and marketing campaign for this seasonal range. As always, Denim & Supply presents a casual collection that blends a Southwestern bohemian spirit with vintage Americana workwear and a dose of New Enlgand prep. Distressed denim is mixed in with Native American prints, faux furs, heavy flannels, knit accessories and functional outerwear. This forthcoming collection can be purchased at participating stockists as well as Ralph Lauren’s webshop.
