IFA is right now going on in Berlin, Germany, where the big global electronics makers present their latest gadgets. We already showed you the new Samsung GALAXY Camera, here is now a look at two new smartphones from the Korean electronics giant – the GALAXY Note II Android smartphone and the ATIV S Windows 8 smartphone.
The new Samsung GALAXY Note II comes in two colorways, overall a slick and simple design, featuring a 5.5” HD Super AMOLED display and it runs Android 4.1 ‘Jelly Bean’. The large size smartphone takes some getting used to and might look strange to many, but the display size is beautiful and allows for some great interactive features. Unlike most smartphones on the market today, the GALAXY Note II also comes once again with a S Pen, for better input, and it has been entirely redesigned for the new Note II.
The ATIV S comes with a 4.8 inch (121.9mm ) HD Super AMOLED and marks the entrance of Samsung into the Windows 8 market. Like most Samsung smartphones, it also comes with a simple and subtle design, focussing on the display quality and general performance, as it comes with a powerful 1.5 GHz dual-core processor.
