This Christmas, new magic will be underway at Barneys New York. Come November 14, Barneys’ Madison Avenue flagship store will unveil a Disney-themed “Electric Holiday,” with this year’s campaign involving a three-dimensional electric light show, a short animated film playing in its window displays that will turn your favorite Disney characters into runway supermodels, and an original soundtrack furnished by Oscar-winner Michael Giacchino. In this glamorous spin-off of the famed Disney Electric Parade, Mickey will be dressed by Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga, Minnie by Alber Elbaz for Lanvin, Goofy by Olivier Rousteing forBalmain, Daisy by Dolce & Gabbana, Cruella by Rick Owens, Princess Tiana by Proenza Schouler and Snow White by Peter Copping for Nina Ricci.
